I went to school at Texas A & M - Commerce. I am certified to teach Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, Office Education, and Technology Applications. I currently teach Business Computer Information Systems I (BCIS). The class is composed of units in Microsoft Office 2007 including Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point. BCIS counts as a technology credit for graduation and is eligible for Tech Prep credit at the junior colleges for all juniors and seniors scoring at least 80% in the course. BCIS I classes use the Shelly-Cashman textbook and resources, Microsoft Office 2007 with Windows XP. The course and resources can be used to help gain certification as a Microsoft User or Expert.
