I teach Geometry and Pre-AP Geometry and now will begin Algebra I as well as an Algebra I Lab. I am looking forward to the most amazing year ever. I know most of you and am looking forward to be learning partners with new faces as well as old. This year will be truly awesome as we work together to set an example for other schools and show them what incredible students attend Palestine High School.

Tutorials will be every morning from 7:30 to 8:00 am. Wednesday, and Friday afternoons and Tuesday and Thursday mandatory tutorials.

In Geometry, we will begin be laying the foundation with defining and learning to apply the building blocks of lines, points, and planes.

In Algebra I we will begin by introduction to functions.

This is my 11th year to teach, ten of them with PISD. I have taught grades 5, 6, 7, and 8 Mathematics, 8th Grade Algebra I Pre-AP, Freshman Algebra I, Freshman Algebra I Pre-AP, Geometry and PAP Geometry. I love my students and will glady work with you anyway and anytime that I can to make you the most successful!!!

I have been married to my high school sweetheart (met in the halls of PHS) for 26 years. We have two sons, Jacob 23 who is attending ETBU and playing baseball for them and is planning on following me into the education profession. (I am not too proud!!!) Cullen, who is 21, is going to TVCC and getting his basics taken care. He leaves for bootcamp Sept. 14 so I will need some help because my nest will be empty for the first time.

I graduated from Stephen F. Austin with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Mathematics. I liked it so much, that I went back to SFA for my masters. I received my masters degree in Middle School Mathematics Teaching.
